The Rafters second CD "With the Sun" was recorded and mixed in their basement from Sept. 08 ~ June of '09 in-between the sounds of the furnace and the noise of life. Just days after the first tracks were recorded they would learn there would be another "little Rafter" on the way. Through a long and reflective pregnancy, long work weeks, the ice storm of '08, and trying to keep up with their two daughters, the final vocal track for "Amazing (02)" was recorded the day before their son, Carter David, was born.
